Anybody know if a hood hinge from a G14 will fit a 1886-02? Mine doesn't "hinge" anymore...

Rusty hinges are a typical problem for the "great outdoor" storage sheds. Usually can get them loose with PB Blaster.

Thanks to all on your quick replies. I haven't given up on my hinge yet - it's pretty frozen up. Its soaking in PB Blaster right now (love that stuff!). Think I'll hit it with some heat tomorrow and see if it'll break loose.

No outdoor storage for my tractors! Just doesn't make sense after the all time, effort, and money that's gone into them. Only problem is I'm running out of room! That means the JD (not so old) lawnmower, which just blew a spindle (tore right through the cheap stamped deck) is heading for Craigslist! Yay! That means I have room for one more tractor...

Now, what to get? Decisions, decisions...

Guess I ought to finish the ones I already have. :rolling:

Yes it will, that hinge not hinging as led me to making them out of 316 Stainless
I have two ten foot lengths of that stainless hing that I plan to do the same as you are with.
