I have a hydrostatic rear end I believe from a 127. There's no filter on it and the one I bought for it seems to be to big a diameter for it. Can anybody tell me the correct WIX number for it.

The Wix number is 51410. The current Cub Cadet number is 923-3014. Stewart

That's the one I tried on it but it seems to be to close to the rubber disc on the drive line.. I bought a 127 new, back in the early 70s

change the oil in the tranny once before I decided the tractor was worn out and got rid of it. Seems the filter was smaller diameter.

I haven't really looked that close underneath while changing a filter in a while but I think it's kind of close with the oem one too. I know there's been a few I've changed that I bumped the fan on the drive shaft while changing them

They ride really close, and if the rubber flex disc it warped and out of round really bad it might even rub a little.
