Morning! Currently 38F (3C) with clear skies. NW winds, plenty of sunshine and 65F (18C) this afternoon. Tomorrow will be 73 seconds longer! Another dip in temps this weekend and some moisture is forecast.
Greetings - it is 7°F which is down from the 14° it was at 4:00 am. Cold wind out of the North East at 12 mph but Mr. Sun has decided to put in a brief appearance today even though the guessers are calling for cloud. Looks like the temperature will continue to drop as the day goes on and calling for a low of 0° this evening.
Good morning - it is presently a less than toasty -3°F (up from -5° earlier), the wind has dropped to 7mph out of the North East and the sun has been shining since 9:00 when it appeared above the tree tops. Under an extreme cold warning (like we need to be told that when the snow squeaks and crunches under your boots when you walk) and looks like we will try and reach a high of 7° later on today before we drop to -9° overnight. May have to find two warmed up tractor mufflers to snuggle up with tonight.
Good morning - it is another sunny day with the temperature now sitting at 10°F - up from -3° at 5:30 am. The wind is light out of the South East and the guessers are suggesting a high of 26° before we drop back to 9° overnight. For January 16th it is a keeper compared with some I remember in years gone by.
Good morning - Looks like Mr. Sun is taking a vacation for most of this week and we are once more back to cloud and grey skies. It is 23°F and quite windy out of the North as a major snow storm passes just to the East of us by several miles. Looks like we will dodge most of the snow as it dumps inland and around the Toronto - Hamilton area. We should see a high of around 26° and ten down to 15° overnight but with the wind it will feel colder.
Good morning - it is a cloudy day with grey skies, a light wind out of the North and we are presently sitting at 14°F - down from 20° earlier. Look like the temperature will start to rise a bit this afternoon and then more overnight and we may get above freezing for a few hours by morning. There was a snow squall watch posted last night for us but most of the streamers appear to have went to the South of us and we dodged another heavy snow fall as we just got a dusting. 62 more days until spring according to my calendar and getting closer every hour.
Morning! 41F (5C) at this hour, that's the high! Strong, gusty NNE winds and cloudy skies with temps falling to 30F (-1C) by late afternoon. This roller coaster is getting old already. Today will be 10 hrs and 2 minutes long. Come on Spring!
Good morning - it is 35°F but looks like we will drop back to 7° by this evening as a cold front ploughs through. Was quite windy last night and there was about an inch of snow that fell and see a few small drifts but decided I will wait and see what we get today before trying to remove it as light snow is predicted for today and tomorrow - could even be some freezing rain as Environment Canada has issues a weather statement. Noticed that the daylight hours are slowly increasing (8 hours and 20 minutes from Sunup to Sundown though not much sun showing) so as Kenny says "COME ON SPRING"!
Morning Folks! Down to 19F (-7C) right now, may drop a few more degrees at sunrise. Might see MR. Sun poke through this afternoon but the gusty North winds will keep temps down around 28F (-2C). Winds were gusting near 30 MPH yesterday.
Good day - it is 11°F and the wind is out of the North at 10 mph - birr. Looks like that will be our high and drop to 1° this evening as the wind drops a bit. We were under a snow squall warning for today and tonight but now that appears to have been dropped - Environment Canada works in mysterious ways sometimes??? Calling for sunshine by the barometer and the forecast but so far all I have seen is cloudy skies. Got about 4" of snow between yesterday and last night and Mr. Wind played with it creating several drifts that were 12" deep so got the Bolens out and after a few hours got rid of most of them. Will probably have to do the same thing tomorrow morning.
Good morning - started off cloudy and 2°F. Had about 6" of drifted snow in spots in the laneway so got some cool seat time. Now up to 9°F and Mr. Sun has decided to make an appearance - had to check a picture in my weather reference guide to make sure it was him as he has been shy lately. Light wind out of the South and looks like we will try for a high of 17° before dropping to 7° overnight.
Two months until spring!
