Good late afternoon - it is 34°F. Managed to dodge the freezing rain from the storm and the wind dropped this morning after howling all night but had some dampish snow piled up in spots so got that moved to where it belonged. Thinking that the wind should have deposited into a ground hogs hole instead of my laneway but guess the laneway was handier to dump it in. Down to 27° overnight and will see what tomorrow brings.

Morning folks. Big snow event here overnight. About 25cm I would guess. It started off yesterday afternoon as heavy wet snow. Right now it is -5C, 23F with sun and blowing snow. I will be going out to deal with it. Should be fun!

Good morning - it is 17°F. Trying for a high of 35° with some sunshine and a light E wind which will pick up later on today as a storm that originated in Texas will track below us. Under a weather advisory for later on today through tomorrow morning and looks like a low of 28°. Will see how it plays out as the guessers are predicting a "great uncertainty" of how it will affect us here.

Morning Guys! Checked the rain gauge yesterday, had about 3/4" in it. That makes about an inch for the week. It's 41F (5C) right now. SE winds, becoming partly cloudy and 66F (19C) for today.

Good day folks. It’s cloudy with the occasional sunny break and well below freezing at -5C, 23F. Looks like the storm on Friday afternoon and night left us with about 30cm/ 12 inches of snow. It was heavy stuff not light and fluffy like the last storm. I used the walk behind blower to remove it from the driveway and then scraped the hill with the loader bucket on the 2320 to prevent ice from forming.

Good morning - it is 32°F. The Texas low we were promised went through late yesterday and last night along with the gusting wind that accompanied it. It left about 12" of wet white stuff in a lot of the laneway where it drifted and about 4" - 6" in most other spots. Got rid of that early this morning so it wasn't too bad to blow as long as I took my time and half cuts in the heavy spots. Looks like we will try for a high of 35° and then down to 29° overnight. Fortunately the wind settled down just after dawn this morning and is now very light out of the W. 16 more days until the "Early Spring" that we were promised on Feb 2 arrives for real hopefully.

Good Morning. Sun and a few clouds here this morning. Currently it’s just below freezing getting up to 2C, 36F this afternoon. A look at the forecast for the next week shows a typical March temperature pattern of above freezing during the day and below at night. This is just what the maple syrup industry needs for good sap flow going into spring.

Good afternoon - it is 36°F. Trying for a high of 39° under cloudy skies with a very light wind. The guessers say mostly sunny but have not seen anything to indicate that yet - did see a flock of geese honking eastward early this morning as I sat out by the bird feeder for about half an hour this morning. It is fun to watch them as they decide who is who in the pecking order to get first dibs at a meal. Down to 23° overnight.
