This doesn't happen too often but I couldn't sleep all that great and popped up out of bed at 4:45 this morning and low and behold I beat Kenny on this morning

Good day folks. Back from working on my mother’s house and back to having internet again. Was a hard working 10 days there for me. Did some paint and trim work and rebuilt the front porch as well as a bunch of other smaller plumbing and electrical jobs.
We put new vinyl plank floors in the kitchen and I made up some base mouldings to match.

The old deck was rotten. It was built with the boards slammed together and it didn’t breathe, rotting out the PT deck boards and some of the framing. I replaced it all and picture framed the front and angled left side. Still need to do the railing and skirting boards. Had to put hardware cloth to block the space under the deck because skunks liked to make nests under that porch in the past. The old deck had that white lattice just screwed to the siding on the house and the front of the deck to prevent skunk condos!
