A while back I took apart my little J.D. 70. After a bunch of cleaning and prepping I got it painted and reassembled. I'm not real happy with some of the paint, but it will wait a few months and let it cure before I fix it. I put a metal seat pan on it and used a cover from another machine. The wife is making a new cover as I sit here and type. I drove it outside today and got some photos. It is overcast and cloudy but here are the requisite pictures. I have the mower deck already done and hiding under a blanket under the steel rack. It will go back on later this spring. I intend to use this machine and my Wheel Horse 857 as my back up mowers. I no longer care if my big mower wants to be cantankerous or not! Rick

What part aren't you happy with? The front nose piece doesn't look to have the same depth of shine, but it's probably the angle. I can't tell.......

Once you put decals on her, you'll be tickled pink with it. Mine never look just right till I apply decals, then.... "POP" !!
