Thanks to you all, but don't worry about me.

Yes, in some german regions people have big problems with the flood - partly bigger then the flood ten years ago some scientists call it a hundred years flood.

In Passau, that's in Bavaria where the rivers Inn and Ilz flow into the Donau (Danube) they have one of the biggest floods since 500 years. The water in the historic center stands there since more then a week.

Through the federal states Saxony, Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony flows the river Elbe. In Saxony-Anhalt, a dam bursted and some villages will be flooded the next days, maybe two weeks.

In the region where I live, we had no problems - only muddy water in Eder and Fulda. The Eder barrage fixe was drawdown right before the big rain begun and that was a good luck for the people in the valleys here (I live on a hillside )

In other european states like the Czech Republic and Austria they had flooding, too.

It's no good year. First the long, dark winter, then cold, rainy spring and now this.

I was watching the science Chanel, and scientist are thinking of changing it from 100 yr floods to 10yr floods. Times are changing for sure.
