Looking at the cover where on chain drive I would not be surprised if they also built the snow blower units for sears suburbans. All carriage bolts used to hold cover??

Its not unusual for companies to farm out their product..Sears was doing so with hand tools. Even Snap On farmed out tools to other manufacturers. Years ago I was in factory of Vise Grip in DeWitt Ne. to pick up a load and saw all the brands they were packaging coming off the line..Snap On being one of them. The Dewitt factory closed up a few years later.
