Quick question. The rear width of the standard 12" LF rims is 12" correct? I don't believe it's 10", but wanted to verify for sure. Thank you.

I have one last project in store for this thing and am in the initial stages of working out the specs.

I have 26 x 12 x 12's on all three of my LF's with no sidewall buldge, so Id say 12 is the magic number!;)

Little somewhat off topic, but are those Firestone Floation tires you have on that rig? They look very nice on there. I'd like a set of those.

The rear rims are not 12" wide, Austen. They are actually 10-1/2" wide. It's the tire width that is ~12" wide.

It just so happens that I just bought (and received) a pair of these rims from a forum member for those 26.5"x14-12 Carlisle Ultra Trac tires that I bought back in May. The standard 10-1/2" wide rims are recommended for them, as well. Lucky for you that I haven't mounted the tires on them yet. :D

Here are some pics I just snapped of the rims.

Wow!! I stand corrected. I would have never thought that seeing as how none of mine have any buldge on the sidewall?

Learn something new everyday I guess. I'm stumped more than anything now?

Excellent! Thank you so much for taking the time to take the photos and clarify this! It's much appreciated!

Loved them. 70-80 pound weight box on the back and 6 gallons in each tire made it really bite. Wished I would of slapped a pair of turfs on it when I sold it, and kept the tires for future use.
Now that's one nice setup! Great looking machine. Love the snowblower and everything. Very cool.

Since I haven't mounted the tires yet, I thought it would be helpful to make some more measurements of the wheel dimensions and provide it to all. I decided that a picture is worth a thousand words. Here ya' go.

BTW: The wheels are reversible. Normal mounting (schrader valve on outside) provides 1/4" negative offset.

Man, you are the best!! I couldn't have asked for more here. Now we have a professional calculated design diagram of factory 12" LF rear rims due to your expertise and graciousness to provide it. I hope this helps many other people in the future as well.

Thank you so much, Toolfoole!!!! :worshippy1:
