I was just curious if anyone has one of these carts or ever seen one.I bought a binder full of Massey literature and it had the assembly instruction sheet for this cart. This cart doesn't resemble the 641.Everything is different. The instructions are dated 12/65.I'm thinking this is the first attempt at a dump cart and found it needed improvement. Then they went to the 641.Not sure just thinking out loud.Massey didn't put serial tags on there carts so it's hard to tell when they were made.

i have a 640 dump cart. bought it new with my MF10 in 1966. My november 1965 massey price list shows the 640 cart priced at $99.50. My december 1966 lists a 641 cart as does the product info sheet dated the same. It appears that the 640 cart was only made for a very short time. The tongue on a 640 is tubular and the 641 has a formed sheet metal tongue.

That's what I was thinking they only made it in 66.If you look at the cover it of the manual it's printed for the Massey Ferguson 10 tractor. Thanks for clarifying that.Do you have any pictures of your 640 cart.We all love pictures.
