Picked this up last week for $20. I figured it's cheap enough,and you don't see these that often.Engine and trans are both seized.Picked up a good transmission and an engine that isn't seized for $40.The recoil on the replacement engine isn't broken,but does need some attention.Decided to tear this thing apart and give it a good cleaning and paint job seeing how i'll have engine,and trans out already.

Sounds like a good deal. They are fun to ride. I did mine about 4 years ago, but it's been mothballed

since then. When you get to that rusty chrome steering column, just go to a plumbing

supply store. Same stuff as used for a bathroom sink drain.

NOT in my liking any of these "riders" they dared call mowers. I think it gets reward tho, for the longest operator levers!

I have one that is similar but labelled as an "MF6". I haven't been able to find a front wheel and tire for mine. I think that it is 5" diameter. Good Luck, Rick

I was lucky. The decals where good enough to just tape them up before paint.

Got some more taken apart on the 832.The steering wheel was a pain in the a$$ to get off.I used my bearing separator to remove wheel and messed up the soft rubber around the bottom.It was very rusty under the center cap.I had it soaking in penetrating oil for about a week.I used my dewalt 3/8 impact driver to apply pressure on puller until it wouldn't crank anymore.Left it sit like that overnight.Still wouldn't budge.Gave the puller shaft 2 good hits with my ball peen hammer and put the impact back on next thing i knew the steering wheel was off.Now the next thing to do is get the stubborn rear wheels off.

Got some parts sandblasted and painted.Hope fully i can figure out what hardware i need this week then i can go get it it.I ordered new tires back in april, they came and are awaiting mounting.I decided to try other members suggestions on the silver mist. I bought 4 cans of duplicolor wheel silver and it is a close match. Not exact but close enough for the cost difference.The wheels and foot boards get the silver.The foot boards were very pitted and took a lot of sanding but they turned out pretty good.The seat bracket also got a coat of silver but i didn't get any pictures of that yet
