Hi there Jay I'am not really sure what your wanting to know I can help you out if you'd be more specific,I have a MF 1655 as do a few other's here so give us a bit more info and one of us will sure beable to help you with all your questions. If Its just oil and filter change thats a easy one,The hydrostatic and hydralic oil use the same oil.Pull the drain plug out{catch the oil in a suitable container} it holds about 5 lts of oil.Take the filter off put on the new filter.I use a Wix Filter #51410 before installing the filter I fill the filter with oil{take your time as it takes awhile for the oil to fill all the spaces} Add your oil what ever type your using.I use ATF in mine due to the cold winter's here and Its used all winter long for snow removal.Warmer climates you can use a universal trans hyralic fluid,or even a 10-30w engine oil or straight 30 engine oil will work fine.Fill the oil thru the filler tube untill full and your good to go_One thing if you don't have the 3 pth plate on the back of yours you can remove the plug at the back near the top of the trans case.if you have the 3 pth plate on yours then you]ll have to do like I do,just take your time adding the oil thru the filler tube under the seat as it doesn't take oil to fast it'll get air bubbles and bubble out oil and air if you fill it too fast{sure makes a mess} Start up when the oil is up to the full mark with the dip stick turned right in,let it run a bit then recheck the oil and add if nessesary.Of course its a good thing to check the oil level every now and then to make sure it up.Hope this is what your looking for if not ask more Larry

Welcome to the Forum, Jay :welcometogttalk:
You will find that this is a fun and informtive place.

Can you specify a little more on what you are asking.....

I'm going to move this into the massey/Snapper forum so it will have a better chance at being answered by the massey guys.
