I have 2 MF-10's

The first one is an early model with a starter generator and has a Tecumseh Carb

The second one has the solid state ignition and has a walbro carb.

Today the Tecumseh Carb had the high speed needle assymbly and bowl nut back out and are now lost in the neighbors yard. So my question is any idea where to find the Tecumseh parts and what Carb do I have (ironically this carb does NOT have the spring loaded drain in the bottom of the bowl) None of the diagrams I have for this tractor show the carb without a bowl drain. On the bottom of the bowl it does have the # 30

Or5 will someone suggest I just buy a new aftermarket and if so which one

Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you post the model numbers of your Tecumseh, I can look it up in my dealer manuals and see what it says for it. We need the spec here, the 5-6 digit code after the model number (e.g. H60) since that number will change which carburetor you use, and then whether or not the bowl drain is standard or not.

If the old carburetor was running well, I wouldn't replace it. A new carburetor even aftermarket averages $80. I can get you one, though, if you want.

Good morning and Thank You for the response. Mr Super A ( I too have an I-H BN)

Here is the information from the engine data plate

Model # 143 578042

Serial# 5277

In the lower rt corner is the following 14

I am attaching 2 photos of the carb.

The first one shows a number stamped in the Carb ( 1203B6F ?)

The second one shows what fell out

I am well into my 50's and this is the first time I have seen the High Speed needl, spring and bowl retaining nut fall out. Any tjoughts on how I got go lucky?

Thanks again

PS when I got the tractor the Carb was out of adjustment and ran poorly. All I did was adjust the low and high speed needles and the carb worked fine.
