I just got a set of headlights but thats it. No mounting bracket or rubber gasket around the light or anything. Does anyone have any good pictures of what I need to fabricate to install them securely? Thanks
Yep, the same rubber that goes on the bracket goes around the holes for cushion.smatt26 said:Thanks for the quick response guys. I think that is easy enough to make. I will check at the dealer, curious to see what that would go for, probably to much. Does the rubber gasket go around the light holes and the lights rest against that as a cushion?
I think the proper name is "rubber light grommet" they come -2"--2 1/2"--4" or 6" oval, they are used on big and small trucks and trailers, yellow or red, for clearance or tail lights.Nevrdun said:DH1, I know I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't get any useful web hits using 4" rubber light buckets, if you wouldn't mind... where do you get these? Great idea!
