hello new to the forum, recently picked up a mf 12 and was wondering since i cant find a 630 blade and mount for the life of me has anyone successfully adapted a newer or other brands blade onto the massey? Any push in the correct direction to a how to or even a 630 setup forsale is appreciated!

Here are a couple of pictures of blades. The first ones are of an early model. 66-67.

in the 3rd pic, you can see the guide bracket that bolts to the front bumper.

Will,Just out of curiousity how do you know the year of the blade? Is it by the serial #? I never really looked into that.Are they numbered like the tractors?I'll have to look at mine.

Oh... and she looks all pretty, but that plow blade was mighty rough!

I also built another one for a friend.... I really liked this mounting system in the rear a lot more and built it to kinda help plan out brackets that could also be used for a sleeve hitch set up. The only problem with this one is that it was a bit too stiff and with the front mount being a little tight!

However, that rear mount is pure beauty if I do say so myself! I even custom turned the mount pin on the lathe!

I don't think they have a serial #. The 1st one I pictured in my post has the 2 pc push tube, and came with an

early 1967 MF10. I guess that model of blade could have been used longer than I said.
