I just got a hydro lift for my 12.Got it all installed tonight. When I went to put the running board on,the lever sits tight against the one end of the cut out for it. Does anyone have a good pic of the lever itself? This one looks like someone had broke it off at one point and rewelded it.

Never knew they had hydraulic lift. But I never had a hydro. My MF12 geared tractor had electric lift, but that part was gone when I got the tractor, but still has the up/down switch in the dash. I use that to lift and lower my loader.

I'm in need of oil capacity for this unit. I drained the old out, and it was pink creamy crap that came out. And for What I got out of it,it has to take more than that. Yet the pump didn't whine at all. It does work thou. I have the tiller on the back still and lifted it with no problems.

The hydraulic lift could be used on gear drive tractors also. It was not run off the hydro transmission but instead had a self-contained pump that was run via belt off the engine pulley.

Thanks for pointing that out. The second and third gen were electric-hydraulic units with switches on the dash.
No idea what the exact differences were between 2&3, but was told the motor/pump units were different.
