I read a few posts about having slack in the rear hubs I was just wondering if you could still buy new ones. Thanks

New hubs are not available. Best thing to do is to find a set off of a parts tractor or on eBay.

Someone here was trying to figure out a way to take up the slop. I think it was firefytr.
I'm not sure how that panned out.

I was more looking for ideas on how to tighten them up myself. I was debating on the lines of either brass shim stock slipped in-between the hubs and splines (knocked on with a mallet) or maybe JB weld with a coating of of something on the splines so that it does not bond as much (maybe graphite?) The later could still require heat to remove... although, some stock ones do anyway.

Others suggested drilling and installing set screws.

If it's only a little play I've used Pematex Sleeve Retainer and also their Green Threadlocker with good results .
