Welcome to the site! I am not a Massey expert, so I don't know of any mechanical differences (I am sure there are some) but the sheet metal on the 1450 is very different then that of a MF14. If you get the chance, we would love to see pics of yours!

Pretty much everything but the engine and rims and sometimes the hydro unit are different. The 1450 is available with rear pto, where the 14 has to use a long belt from the front pto clutch to drive attachments such as a rear tiller. Some 1450's will have an Eaton hydro unit, while ALL 14's have Sundstrand, and some of the 1450's have Sundstrand also. Different sheet metal totally.
MF14's use the same hydraulic control lever to supply both the belly deck cylinder and the rear 3 point lift cylinder if so equipped, while the 1450 if equipped with a 3pt lift, has a separate control valve for the belly & rear lift cylinders.
