Seeing that the leaves are falling it's time to put my grass/leaf catcher on today.I'll take some pics of it as I'am installing it.I made it 10 yrs ago sort of copying the one I had made for my MF 10. I"ll do this after lunch and post pics later today.Larry

I took some pics of the grass/leaf pump. The pump mounts onto the side of the mower and is driven off the outer spindle pulley that has a double pulley. The pump itself is 12" in dia.I have a [hammer blade] on the underside of the pump to break the leaves into smaller pieces.I took the pump apart to show what it looks like inside. This thing will pick up wet grass and leaves and very seldom plugs up in the chute.Larry

I made the collection system fit onto the back of the tractor just slides right into the same spot that the sun shade slides into.I used garbage can's for holding the grass/leaves.The square plastic cans just slide into the back of the top and are held from sliding out with a bungee cord. The chute is made from 8" black stove pipe and slide into and onto where they fit. There held together by small bungees that keep the two pipes together. The lower pipe is held on the mower with a simple hair pin. This has worked perfect for me for the last ten years.Larry

Very nice home build Larry! That looks like a very sturdy unit. Thanks for sharing the pics!
I have a factory collector for my WH and it leaves a lot to be desired. The "pump" housing is made of plastic, it weighs down the discharge side of the deck and there's no way to level it out. I think it was an ill-conceived design. I have found some parts and pieces to do something like yours, but haven't had the time or really the interest since I cut grass with my ZT now. But Fall is coming and I should probably get busy on it.
