I have a problem, I just paint the chassis in metallic gray paint but does not shine and it is especially rough. This painting is the original gray flintgrey MF brand Wilckens. I wonder what is the reason for this problem. Namely, this paint is very heavy particles.

I must find a solution. May be a veneer?
Bonsoir

Was this paint in a spray can or is it paint that you add hardener to?
I agree with MH81 that it sounds like too much hardener in the mix. That would prevent the paint from leveling before flashing causing a rough surface.

hello,

I use to paint a gun. I put the hardener but on some parts, I used the paint without hardener. I just noticed on the pot that date in August 2009. What is the shelf life of a synthetic paint in its original pot sana opening it?

This may be the problem??

Welcome to GTTalk! I can't answer your question on the paint, but wanted to say Hello! Hopefully someone will be able to answer it for you. Did you thin the paint at all?

I did a little research and found that the unopened shelf life will depend on the type of paint. Urethanes or epoxies will store well unopened, enamel paints may not. Check the paint in the can for sedimentation and uniformity, they can be evidence that the paint is curing and then is not usable.

Good evening,

I am in contact with the seller to find a solution. I plan to spend a polyurethane varnish but is it compatible with a synthetic paint?

You should be alright now to upload more pics. I forgot a zero in the setting and it should have been 100mb for new members but it was set at 10mb. Once you hit 10 posts you will automatically be moved from the new member group to the member group and the limits will be raised.

When I am sending pictures to a forum, I will usually use a program called Image Resizer from Microsoft. It is a free program for XP and works very well. It will turn those very large pictures to a file that is around 250-500Kb (depending on your settings) and takes up much less room in the system. 100M is a lot of room 250kb at a time.

Good evening,
I solved my problem by putting paint a layer of synthetic varnish. I finished the renovation of the engine. I am attaching pictures.
Is anyone have the wiring diagram of the headlights of an MF10 1971 because there code, lighthouse, night light and a switch.

PATLULU, Thank you for the pictures! That looks great! I'm glad that it's coming together for you. May I suggest using Google translate for your posts in the future, as it seems that your syntax doesn't translate directly. I believe that you're seeking a wiring schematic. You can find that Here. I hope that this helps!

PATLULU, Merci pour les photos! Cela ressemble beaucoup!
