I am getting ready to move to my first home and getting the MF10 DIESEL variable speed back in service was a priority today. This may be my last post for a while. I have been working on this engine swap since last August. WARNING! Extreme fabrication required! Getting the Lister-Petter AC1 fitted to the tractor wasn't easy, it barely fits. The hassle of getting the variable speed governor parts over the pond from London (5 months) wasn't fun. I had to hand machine a bunch of parts including a wild and exotic shut down/governor linkage. Or invent tools to make the existing components work. But, it runs. The result is brutal. I am sure everybody wants to hear it, so here it is.

I think things are about to get interesting at the local garden tractor pulls and in the yard!

Nice job on installing that diesel! The old girl should make quite a puller and a worker for you. Thanks for the videos.

She sure sounds great! Gotta love those diesels! BTW...what is the full op rpm's of that LP?
As to being gone, you're only allowed 2 weeks leave w/pay, so if longer than 2 weeks the checks stop coming! :rofl2:

Seriously, we'll look forward to your return. Hope the move goes smooth as silk. Enjoy your new home.

Well it moved under it own power last night, It was also the first time I heard it run in person.

As for the move I've been helping Jeff quite a bit this week with it and for the most part has went pretty smooth except for last night when it started raining and hailing. The only othe snafu Jeff has had is with a difficult to deal with landlord.

I do know it will take Jeff a while to get the new shop organized, we hauled a load of Big block chevy motors, a load of Cummins motors, 2 loads of machine tools, plus he still has to move a 28ft enclosed gooseneck full of sheet metal for project trucks and other shop equipment and supplys.

His new house is perty nice and sits on 2 lots, it has a nice big back yard for Jeff to mow with the Massey and inhale the wonderful aroma of diesel smoke

The motor is a 3600 rpm motor
