I got the dash back on, cables and wires hooked up and the fuel tank back in place. Figured I might as well put the fenders on as they can sit there as well as on a bench.
The tractor came with the original seat bucket with no upholstery and a generic lawn tractor seat. The “fits all” seat has enough mounting holes to fit every tractor in the world and few that haven’t even been designed yet. Just not an MF10. The cover and foam were easy to remove so I decided to just re and re the bolt plates to locations that fit my pan. This seemed as easy as making an adapter plate and used no extra material. So that’s done now too. Check another job off the list. Debating painting the seat metal red or grey. Or just leave it the generic black?
I’ll probably start on the grill tomorrow. Once that’s done I can mount the hood and get it out of the way.
