Does anybody have a MF14 or MF16 with the 23-8.50x12 rear tires?

Reason I ask is in my owners manual and on the AGCO parts book site there is reference to the rear tires being

23-8.50x12 with 7" wide rim or

23-10.50x12 with 8.5" wide rim.

I have only seen or heard of the 10.50 wide tires being used from the factory. ???

My Mf16 has the 23x10.50 on it....and even they look small, I think the 8.50 would look funny. Some 26x12x12's sure would fill up the wheel well better...

The 8.50s were AGs

Never heard of that. I guess I learn something new today.
Not sure its in the parts book, but somewhere I have the corresponding part numbers that show the optional AG tires/wheels. Simplicity/Allis was big on this as well, so much so that they even changed model numbers when the tractor was ordered with AGs. Remember MOST GTs were sold as the tractor only, much of the equipment was an option, like the mower deck, lol, head lights, electric/hydraulic lift, cigarette lighter, hour meter, and such

I use chains on AGS on GTs and big tractors, very common in the farming community, still looking for the parts book with Massey Accesories that shows the AG option, Selling something you might not need isn't uncommon for any vehicle is it?

I have serveral books that aren't available in .pdf, or haven't been converted to .pdf, that show AG options on MF14/16, MF10/12, and maybe even MF7/8, I think I got them from the guy at the factory in Hesston, Kansas when I got the serial number list five or six years ago, hers the page for the AG option in the acceory manual for the 1450/1650, the others are the same

If you are blowing or plowing snow then having a narrower option for rear tires makes sense to me. I'm sure for some AG type jobs reducing the width a few inches may be a good thing as well.
