Rained all weekend, so I had some shop time.
I started on the MF6 RER.
It is a survivor, but I figured it need a good cleaning, and going over.
Pulled it apart, degreased, and pressure washed. Also got paint on the rims,
back rest, and hardware.
Still got to do the footrests, and deck. surface rust on the deck, but not to bad.
Bearings etc. are fine. I haven't found a single mechanical issue on this machine.
Someone looked after it. Thanks.
I'll post some pics shortly of the shroud once compounded.

Here are some pics.

Oh yeah, in the first picture, laying on the tire is a clip I'd never seen before.
It is used instead of the Eclips, everywhere on this machine.

Pics of the shroud buffed up.I think it came out Ok.
It has a few blemishes, but I'm going to leave them alone.
I just know it, if I start touching it up, I'll be repainting it in no
time.
However, that chip on the dash has to be dealt with.

Looks like she buffed out nice to me. Definitely a keeper as a survivor.

Those retaining clips can be a pain in the arse without the right retaining ring pliers.

Those "x" washers as they're called in agcopartsbooks, don't make much sense.
They aren't spring steel, so how many times can they be cycled before they break, or fall off.

Yes, there must be a special tool for them. Needle nose pliers just aren't enough.

The worst one to get at is on the center deck hanger bracket. Get your 4 letter words ready for that one.
