I finnale found a 610 mower deck. The deck it self is in good condition but, of course the all the pulleys and bearings are bad. Got the drive pulleys off using a good quality 3 leg puller and a mapp gas torch ( FYI mapp gas is hotter than propane). They were really rusted and not usable. And, I bent the hell out of them pulling them off.
So I spent some time on the internet and found new generic ones at mfgsupply.com, they stock lots of sizes and types both model specific and generic.

# 13-726 IF-6412 Idler pulley. $11.00
# 13-769 P-322. Steel pulley. $8.29

I have yet to pull the spindle bearings but will need them also.
I have a Fleet Farm store just a few miles from home. (Lucky me) and they are now carrying "Van Sickle" paints spray cans, qts & gals in MF red and flint gray. Bought a can of red and tested the color match to the under side of one pulley that still had paint. Good match!

Hope this helps
Till later, Brad

Ok guys, my pulleys and idlers showed up today, only 4 days after my order was placed. And I have to say they are a match. The pulleys look to be Evan better than factory, they have a rolled edges for more strength. The idlers nice smooth turning bearings. I painted them Massey red ( Van Sickle brand) should look great when dry.

I have been thinking about the underside of the deck, what to coat it with. There is always paint and someone had access to truck bed liner. What have you used? Any one tried spray on auto undercoating?
