When I had my MF 10 with the tiller it had the same gear box with the shaft comming out.It was a pain to mount it.The guy I bought it from had it mounted on the tractor and to me it was a big pita to put it on and take it off.You actually had to take the spring loaded drive pulley off the underside of the tractor and mount the gear box in it's place, then run a short belt to the pulley on the motor, and of course the foot control was still used to activate the drive belt.To me it was a poor design.I ended up cutting all the brackets etc;off the top of the gear box,and welded a short square piece of tubing onto the top of the gear box then welded another bigger piece of sq.tubing onto the tractors frame so that it worked like a sleeve hitch.Of course it has to be in the right spot welded onto the gear box in order to keep the belt lined up.I then used a pin to hold them together and a short belt to the jack shaft that drives the mower. Then I had to cut the yoke off the end of the shaft and and cut the shaft shorter and re weld the yoke back on.After that it was all quick attach without having to remove that jackshaft under the tractor etc: it was a very fast and very simple procedure to mount and remove the gear box after that.Don't have any pictures of that sorry I know pics would have made the explanation way better.Larry
