Does anyone have a pic of how the belt should go after it

leaves the PTO, and heads back to the hydra?

There's an adjustable peg there, about 8" behind the

PTO pulley. Over or under?

Thanks.

Will, my gut instinct is to have the peg on the flat side of the belt. Otherwise, I don't know one way or the other.

I have a MF7 operators manual but it doesn't show the Hydro drive belt routing only the gear drive.

There is a tensioner pulley.

Thanks Mike.

That Fig. 31 shows the bracket, and that the belt goes over the peg.

That makes sense. This is how I got mine.

That Fig. 31 is the only place I've found reference to that. It's not

shown in AgcoPartsBooks. (I might of missed it)

Will-you have it right on the front the peg goes over the top of the belt.

Does anyone have a picture of the belt on the back side of the tower? I need to make sure i have the channel the belt goes thru mounted correct along with the idler pulley. I thought I took of picture of the area before tearing the tractor appart. :wallbanging:

That peg goes over the belt - just above the flat side of the belt. There should be a similar one just below it for the PTO belt. There's nothing more headed to the hydro until you get to the idler pulley about three inches aft of the slot for the PTO engage lever. On the return leg, there's a flat guide tray that starts a few inches forward of the idler pulley.

Thanks, I found out my issue was the u shaped bracket the flat guide tray bolts to and also holds the steering "gear box" I had upside down. :wallbanging: Now the bracket is correct the belt looks like it should. With it upside down the belt was only 1/2" apart at the 1st idler going back to the hydro.
