how do you guys protect your decks. other than washing them out, i have one in particular that i want to protect once i have it cleaned up, out of 40 decks its my only rear discharge, i was thinking on sand blasting it then give it a coat of galvalume paint underneath then give it a few coats of fiberglass resin, or am i asking for trouble. i have heard or spraying them with rubber undercoating but i have my doughts that would be a good idea. but with it being a rear discharge theres quite a large opening ,thanks for your opinions, ideas

That's really the only thing you can do.
A good prime and paint with a coat of wax is the best way to preserve a deck, also only cut when the grass is dry .
I saw one for sale the other day that had been Epoxy coated underneath. I'm not sure how much that would help. I think good maintenance/ cleaning is your biggest tool in making them last.
