I have been trying to get a pic of my 1556 in the forum and have yet to be successful. If this gets posted check out the stainless steel pan on the hood. My dad used to be a surgical scrub nurse and recycled old surgical tools that could no longer be sterilized satisfactorily. This instrument pan was used as a replacement for the original hood section that I think was made out of plastic. I would like to thank the fellas who replied to my thread and offered the parts & maintenance manuals.

That is pretty cool, looks like you are ready to go racing. You could even take it one step further and put a butterfly flap on it and hook it up to move with the throttle.

That looks right at home on the hood.

Needs a little sheetmetal work on the fenders but all in all not a bad tractor to start with at all.

Remember take lots of pics.

I got a 1556 spotted also in about the same condition as yours, the guy who has it is a long time friend and said he'd trade a good set of ags and wheels for it. Its as good as mine. thatt'll be another one I can cross off the wish list.
