I think there were several versions of seats through the years. I was going to post a picture of the seat on my MF12G but I don't have any right now. The seats on my 12G and 12H are different. There is also an open back frame and a closed back frame.
Thanks Mike, It appears that this pattern was done with a mold, I could probable get close with stitches but would then be afriad of the stitch lines tearing with vinyl or similar material, I quess I'll just take the pics and ask the reupholster Co.
I dont think it would be too hard to make a grid with that pattern and heat the vinyl up with a steam iron or what not and press it together. But I have never tried it. I think the stitching would look fine. As long as youre getting some Austrian leather LOL
I got here late with my pictures. My MF-10 has the same cushion pattern as Mike Bramel's. But there may have been variations, the parts book lists three seats, one is the "luxury" high back seat they used on the 12, but the other two look low, like Mike's pictures. My MF-8 has a pattern just like the ones on the 10.
The 8 is the "newest," so the seat patterns may have differed during production. It would much easier to do reproductions of the smooth style, but I'm not sure how to determine whether that may have been the difference between the two low seats listed in the MF-10 parts book.
