I Need a manual for a John deere 400. can anyone help ne ?

Unfortunately, only your JD Dealer. Maybe.
We had a large collection of helpful information here, including many service manuals to keep the older JD Equipment going.
JD Contacted us and requested we remove them. So, in spite of the fact that all we were trying to do was to keep their older equipment well serviced and in service... We regrettably complied to their request.

We do have many smart guys here, and if you have a specific question, one of them probably knows the answer.
