I have been setting money aside, planning on ordering some ag tires and rims for use in the garden. I spotted these on Kijiji the other night and picked them up this morning. Deestone 23x8.5x12, 6ply on rims and tubes in them. The guy said he had never even had them on a tractor. They still have the nubs on the treads. I just need to re-paint them (red) and get them loaded. Now I have to start saving for some tri-ribs for the front.

Is the offset correct for your Bolens?

To be honest Kenny, I did not even think about checking the offset until you brought it up. I did check that the bolt pattern and center hole were the right size though. I checked the offset after reading your post and luckily it is correct also.

Edit: I don't think those are actually Deere rims, someone painted yellow over the original white paint. The seller pointed it out, but they were yellow when he bought them.

Tri-rib Deestones are pretty cheap on many sites and in stores. I use Greater Cleveland Tractor or close name to get them. GCT.com I think goes to site? Can buy in pairs for a little less and shipping is only a couple days. I have now found my local Firestone can get them, same price and no ship then and he gets from same place, huh!

Well, I got them loaded, painted and installed Then I took it out and got it muddy. I looked into Rim-guard for ballast but ended up going with RV antifreeze because they nearest supplier was too far away. The wheels and tires weighed 28lbs each without ballast and 68lbs each loaded. I painted the rims with "International red" and they look pretty close to the original colour. I forgot to take pictures after the test drive.
