A BIG THANK YOU to Deerlope for selling me these wheel weights. It'll really help when we get the BIG DUMP this winter.

Wire brush cleaning, priming and painting before I mount them up.

They sure do look a lot better all cleaned up and painted. I usually use 1/2" dia x 6" machine bolts grade 5 for mounting them.
Picked up four 1/2" - 13 x 6" grade 5 bolts and four 1/2" - 13 nuts and eight 1/2" washers that are waiting to do their job of holding these weights on.

Thanks again, Deerlope.

I guess we all have our preferences :D :D :D

I prefer to use carriage bolts of the proper length with a flat washer and nylock nuts.

On my full size International 400 I have 300 lbs on each wheel and they are bolted on with standard 3/4" bolts. 2 bolts to hold them together and two more to hold them to the center. Have had no problem since they were put on about 10 years ago.
