Made a trip to the farm today, ponds are still down, this one about 2-1/2' low.

Cut a little firewood, seeded some wildlife plots & picked up some sticks from the picnic grounds.

Brought the firewood home & replentished some of the supply.

No springs, just ground run-off. Two ponds on the farm, the other one is 4-5' low, doesn't have enough "watershed", but it was the only decent place to put it! This one was built in 1965, the other one a few years later.

30 miles from home, my folks bought the 190 acres in the mid-1960's. No one's lived there for the last 10 years, gravel stops at the house, dirt road the rest of the way in. ~~ Lowell
