There's something wrong with my implement lift lever besides the tab being broken that holds the lift lever in place.

It almost seems something is bent compared to all the others. When my lever is raised all the way up the lever will almost touch the rear axle arm by the seat making it impossible for you to get your leg on the footrest.

Anyone know whats up with my assembly?

I would say the main lift arm is twisted between where it is welded on and the 90 degree bend. You can see how the crossover link that lifts the lock pin is at an angle, and it should be 90 degrees from the notched lock plate. Someone did a good strong-arm lift!

Edited to add: I know NOTHING about Ridemasters (or any Bolens), I am simply going by what makes sense to me when I look at it.

The spot where I think the twist mainly took place appears to be about 1 1/2" or so from the welded end. Looks like the paint is lifted there from the twist.

Looks a little bent down to me.. I see something else they may factor into this I never seen on any other. Brian give me a call at home I can tell you better that way.

The lift arm is defiantly bent back.

The lift rod should be about parallel with the lift arm.

I agree that it looks like it is bent down by the weld.

I don't have any of my tractors here so I can't take any close photos but here are some photos that I have that show the lift arm assembly.

Bolens1000, it seems as though you also have a set of Bean Cutler disks on it, rather than the Ridemaster set, which had 4 disks per unit (side).

Its a walk behind disc.

Here's some more:

Compared to others I have seen it looks like the metal plate with the ID tag is actually welded much farther back towards the driver.

I also put on a new Magneto cover to replace the old one with the hole in it :D

I see yours is welded more up and down that makes the half pie part lay back more

Whats the numbers on this tractor I'll see if it newer then any of mine.

I bet this is what your talking about. Forget the red box it was for another thing..

Whats the engine numbers i'll add her to my list...

Yep my newest is like 200 tractors older then yours, I'll see if I got any photos of another tractor like this. Does it look to be rewelded at all? Friday at the factory tractor?

It appears to be an original weld.

I will get the engine numbers for you sometime this weekend.
