I bought a bolens 1000 as I posted before in ohio and I have a forum member dave a.k.a oldbuzzard to pick it up for me then the next time I went to ohio to buy something I was going to pick it up, well he called 2 weeks ago and said he was heading east not far from me so being the nice guy he is he droped it off to me... I paid 150 for it and its in nuce shape just needs a hood hinge, battery, original throttle and choke cable and the carb cleaned but it runs pretty good.. if anyone knows where I can get them cables let me know I have N.O.S handles for them. we sat and talked for a while he checked out my collection but he had his eye on the GK lol he really likes it he was also checking out my dads iseki h1502... well heres some pics of the 1000 I got for 150.. thanks again dave!!!

Going to be hard finding the original seat though.

Seems like everyone is after the 1000's lately....

You should be able to go to a small engine shop and get some bulk cable for them. If you need to know the length just let me know. I got a pair of NOS handles and cables for my 1000.

That's a nice looking machine! The seat pan doesn't even look all cracked up.

the seat pan has no cracks at all an I have another one that's perfect just needs paint.. and brian I know but the seat that's on there works for now
