Finally getting back to this project! Kubota 3cyl running on propane, new frame, bolens front axle w/front pto, bolens 3 blade mower deck. Going to be great. Here's some frame pics. More grinding and tack welding tomorrow. Frame is stretched 12", the tubes mate to the bolens front.

Really enjoy this work. Gotta get some of this done before I get to siding the addition I put on the house last year and car audio season gets into full swing. .

I plan to U-bolt the new rails on top of the original rear end. This will give me the level stance I need after the bolens front. Also allows me a place to attach a couple links to the rear in the future. I know it'll be only like 50% panzer in the end but it'll still look like a panzer.

Cleaned up all cuts today and tacked the cross piece to pipes together to test fitment. It'll work!

Just welded a good chunk of it together. Haven't dressed the welds yet but not too bad for not welding in a good 10 years.

Does the 3-cyl Kubota engine have a clucth and transmission attached ?

No. It came from a genie man lift. Was hooked to a hydraulic pump. It will use the oe panzer belt drive setup.

More updates. Didn't get a chance to work on it much... But have some studs installed on the front axle and started mocking up the front grill.

This is the sort of thing that I do myself and I'm enjoying watching your progress on this project.

Question .. are you going to cap the angled front ends of the rectangle tube or leave them open ?

I'm going to cap it with some plate, it's going to have a mouth cut in it so the angle piece dies into the tube on either side.

Cleaned off the rear end frame rail welds and dry fitted the frame. Looks like the left and right tubes are at different Heights. Might also block up off the rear a couple inches for more ground height.
