Hi,i picked up a MTD 960 14hp with sleeve hitch,42inch mowing deck,and awesome as heck sicklbar mower.The sickle bar is missing the drive shaft for one.I cant find a model number on it.Im pretty sure its missing parts like the engagement lever and a square piece of steel with a pulley that might connect to the tractor.It has the carraiage put I think its missing a piece of plate and clamp for connecting it to the back.I have 175.00 for at all.It is currently DOA.I have to rebuild the carburetor.Its been sitting id say for 10 to 15 years.I changed the oil,it wasn't milking or orange red.The plastic dash is busted all to pieces.If anyone has a dash for sale.I would be interested.If anyone can find me a manual for the sickle bar,i would greatly appreciate it.Its a Haban mower.This is the first sickle bar mower ive ever seen and owned.It moves freely.I cant wait to use it.Thanks

Surely someone has a mower similar to this! Might take some searching to find the manual.

Wow! What a big undercarriage. Looks like the quick attach type, can't tell? Those dashes are always broken, some real bad, others with little use only the corners and edges. No such thing as new ones. Read thru the postings here on these tractors and you will learn alot. Couple of regulars here who are the Guru's of these. Good Luck!

My dash looks like someone has took a hammer to it.Its busted really bad.I should have it running tomorrow.It has the briggs updraft carb.I bought a kit from O Reilly's .Yes O Reilly's they have the updraft kit with welch plug and nozzle for 21.00.That is a deal compared to briggs which neither comes in that kit.

On your haban, your missing the lift handle , knee guard and mount bracket with over centering pulley , chain , rear mount with isolator. as well as the drive shaft. The drive shaft is the same as what came with the mower deck.

Dash can be repaired with a LORD FUSOR product ,but kills a 100 bucks.
