Yesterday I came home for work and they were combining the beans around my place. Well since they were doing that I decided to put the plow on the 1050 to square up the line around the farmsite. You would think with all the modern day technology/GPS it wouldn't be hard to make a straight line along the edge of the driveway. So i did it the old school way, line yourself up and go.
Here's a few pics of what I got done tonight.

That's 3 rounds worth and want to do 2 more (less grass to cut). With a 1/4 mile long driveway it takes a little time to make a round. Had to put my daughter to bed, so I'll finish it tomorrow.

Looks like fun... man I wish I had a couple tri-axles full of that dirt!
I take it you got lighter soil there. It's not like this all over the state but around here it is with lots of dinosaur eggs (rocks). I did hook one plowing, the 1050 didn't like that!

Sometimes Its hard to believe what these tube frames are cappible of. I told my dad one time about a plow day event and he wouldn't believe me that a g.t. would turn over a field with a plow, I had to prove it with pictures. Great pics, thanks for sharing! Enjoy finishing the job!

our soil is really heavy with clay... to get anything besides fescue and weeds to grow we have to get top soil from lower areas. And yeah we've also got a lot of rock around here.

Looks like you had fun

How's your arm feeling today? I see you have it setup with the manual lift
The arm is just fine today. I put a helper spring off a cub cadet on it a few years back, it's not original but it works.
