Hi all, well the grass has slowed to a crawl the days are getting shorter so thought I'd get the dozer blade assembly in the shop and check it over. The hitch is in pretty condition just replaced the rusty cotter pins with hair pins found some spacers and 1" washers and replaced the lift pivot pins/bolts, now for the hard part I didn't get the blade attach plate (am going to call the fellow and see if its laying around his place) in case he doesn't have it I'll fabricate one in that case I need some measurements. Its number 3 in the parts breakdown if someone could provide me with: A: the thickness of the plate B: the width of it C: total overall length. I know its 12" from the main pivot to the locking latch.

Hi all, well I call the fellow I bought the tractor from and he knew what I was asking about and was 90% sure he knew where it was said he check and call me back, well after dinner when I went back to my shop there was a message saying he found it and where it was in case he was gone when I got there, I took off and got to his place and the plate was where said it would be OH Happy day. Yesterday I worked on reconditioning the dozer assembly then cleaned it up and painted it today. Looks good now its to reassemble it, need to find a couple of springs for the blade trip and to fabricate a lift rod.

That's in mucj better shape the mine. The plow trip has been welded solid and as a result the blade is bent in so many directions

Sanding is much easier and faster than fabricating, glad he found it. I hope it still looks like that in January.
