Years ago I was at a local pull that had a garden tractor class. This one fella had turf tires that he went to work on with a grinder to put a bar tread design into them. Well he did as well or better than anyone there. I have wondered since then if anyone else does that. The tires usually get cut anyway. Maybe this is an option for you.

The only thing i would worry about is the width.Different tire manufactures 10.5" tires run different width.I have a set of the deestone ag tires on my Mf 10 size is 10.5" but the tire tread width is actually 9.5" wide.If these tires actually do have the 10.5" tread width i'm not sure that they'll fit. There isn't very much clearance with my destines to the fender pan with the stock Massey wheel. You would possibly need a wheel from a different tractor manufacturer that the center is offset differently.

Sorry Collin had a brain fart this morning plus i wasn't awake yet.The wheels that came with the deestones were cub cadet and they wouldn't fit.I had to put the tires on massey wheels. The center mounting plate is off center on masseys. You might have to flip your wheels for the wider stance.
