I am trying to replace the hydro from the rear end. I removed the bolt at the rear, the oil filter stud, and the break disk. I am having a hard time removing the pump. It looks like the gears are holding it back.

I have been wacking it darn hard with a big hammer and it is bearly coming out, but is coming slowly. I guess I'll try a bigger hammer.

There must be something holding you up.

You taken the shaft with the allen head out of the filter area right?

The top cover is off to?

Yup I removed the oil filter stud. Pulled the break disk off and necessary collar, the large bolt at the rear. Using a hammer I did get it to move 1/4" but thats when I stopped thinking something else is keeping it from coming out.
