I was going through all the parts that came in the mystery box. I thought this went to the snowblower attachment and never realized it went to the engine. I am really surprised this survived it looks the first part that would get lost or tossed away.

That's a cool accessory to have with the tractor. The first Allis Chalmers B1 that I bought had the three belt snow thrower on it, and came with the same heat shield.

I thing I do got to say about this tractor it's really amazing how well built and advanced when comparing it other tractors that were available in 1960

Yup...they are around, and most seem to be in mearly unused shape. I have a couple nos. That yellow one is the first yellow one ive seen! Neat.

It looks like the Caution sticker placement was changed at some point, so that you could see it when opening the hood. To see that sticker on the Simplicity heat shield, you would have to peer through the grill to see it. If the heat shield was left in place during summer use, the engine would surely overheat.

This shield was first used on the Simplicity walkers...guessing thats why the decal placement was up front.
