It will turn the right direction for most any right side discharge deck. The one I built that went with my nephew BaumBaum to Indiana was a right discharge belly deck from a YardMan lawn tractor. I just used a gearbox off an MF12's deck mated to a driveshaft. I forget if the MF12's gearbox is RH or LH rotation, so whatever their rotation is, you'd need that rotation gearbox to work with a right discharge deck, and the opposite rotation for a left discharge deck.Would it run the right direction or would you need blades to turn the other way? Neat idea for sure.
Hey Greg!! Did you get that 1855 in Roanoke? I meant to message you about it, and today when I got around to it, it looks like it's already gone.Is anyone aware of Snapper offering a 3 point mower attachment for the 1855 or is this unit a modified belly mower?
Thanks for any help,
Don't get in a huge hurry. These things seem to take cycles. There's not many on the market now, but give it a few months, and I bet you can pick from half a dozen.Hey Eric, The one I was looking at was in MN and he was very proud of his machine so I had to pass. I picked up an Ariens for a good price. I'm trying to get some information on it but I'm keeping my eyes open for an 1855.
