I have a similar problem with my Snapper 1600. The manual lift only lifts the snow plow blade about 2 to 3 inches. It appears to be a design problem because others have had the same complaint. The other possibility is that we all have something attached wrong. Good Luck, Rick
Hydro fluid level? Linkage adjusted wrong and is already part way up the lift before trying? Need more revs to run hydraulics? Have a user manual? How about the three point hitting a stop or being held and binding up the rest of system?
Lifted it up last night and left it Still up this morning and seemed to work better for some odd reason Anyhow I went and purchased two new assist springs at Ace hardware for $14 and it picks it up a good 5 inches easily now Im guessing the springs were wore out I think I will still take it to the massey mechanic and have him look it over sometime
