I just recently got an LT 16 with disc drive. I replaced the driven disk, and it did a world of wonder. How big of a pain is it to replace the drive disk? It has a couple fairly significant grooves in the drive disk, and I'm thinking it will probably chew up the driven disk fairly quick. I actually already have the drive disk to be replaced, but it does not come with the "center button." Can I use my old one? Can you find new ones somewhere?

I don't have one of these tractors, but you can find instructions on replacing the drive disc in one of the service manuals linked below. The first manual is for Series 0, 1 and 2 tractors. the other manual is for Series 3 and later.

I believe the center button is obsolete, but it may be possible to find an older Snapper dealer that still has one in stock.
