Ok Bolens guys....

If you use a snow-caster to blow your driveway with what Kind do you use?
The yellow "Flat Back "snow caster or the newer "Round back snow" caster?

I Have been thinking about trying to locate one of the round back ones because I hear the Rounded ones work so much better.
Any thoughts? :smilewink:

Brian, I have a 36" flat back sno caster. If the snow is light and dry it'll throw it probably 10-15'. If it's wet probably 5-10'. The problem I have is if the snow is wet the chute will get clogged up sometimes when I bring the tractor to a stop. Apparently you need to constantly feed it snow to push what's in the blower out. No problems if the snow is light.
I've been using this blower for about 10 years and it's been pretty reliable. The only problem I had with it was I broke a shear pin when a stick tried to go thru it.
