Helped my son get his LT going today. During the fall he let the tire go flat so he removed the tire today and we went to local tire shop and they cleaned up the bead and made sure it wasn't leaking anymore. He reinstalled the tire and we had to coax the engine to start up with a little starting fluid. He immediately wanted

to drive his tractor and this is what he ended up doing.

here's a video of him as well

Looks like he's having fun and nice yard too. No snow, lucky you. Any attachments for the tractor.

We've had snow on the ground for a month and a half. Thankfully it almost all melted. Just a mower deck that is rusted out. He also has a cub 122 but the motor is out and it will not be running until later this summer.

Nice bonding time. The smile he is wearing is priceless
He's been talking about getting his tractor fixed all winter long. He reminded me about 5 times last night that we we're going to be working on it today. :dancingbanana:

I was the same way with my Pop now we go to shows together with our herd.
I think that's what I enjoy more as I get older.
I'm hoping that will be something that we will have as we get older. We also have a 68' Plymouth GTX that is a project that we will be working on together. It's torn apart and basically needs everything done to it. He referes to it as the "Blue Car"

Thanks!

Most people don't even know what the GTX is!

I liked it so much that I pulled it out of a junk yard during the summer of 1988.

This is not my car but it is the same color, type, and year of what my car will hopefully look like when I'm done with it.

Someone should call Family Service. Do you have any idea what you have done to that boy?!! You made him a tractor junkie. He'll never get over this. Next thing you'll be buying him tools for Christmas. :D

He already has his own tools and toolbox! We buy tools at yard sales all the time. This summer we bought an older Snap-on top chest from the 70's for $15. It's got paint and stickers all over it but he loves it. He has a B&D drill that uses different attachments. So far he has a drill, impact, and sanding attachment. He keeps asking for a saw! I constantly have to ask him what he's doing so that he doesn't take apart things that I don't want him too! :D
