Ahhh! Summer vacation! Enjoy every minute of it. It's not always possible to get a long break once you start working. I haven't had more than 2 weeks off in a row for almost 30 years. I love summer and am looking forward to retirement so I can have the summers off.

Hey guys! Just finished my finals, and passed 7th grade going into 8th! First day of my smmer vaction. Hope to finish my Cub Cadet restoration, work on the farm, and get projects done this summer! Keep you guys posted! Ian
Make the best of it, as it'll seem like you just slept once & it's all gone & back to school! Enjoy it! BTW....how long is your summer break?

Oh my Brian, I hate to hear that. I haven't ever had 2 weeks off in a row my entire life! Seriously, the most I ever took was one week back in the 80's...well, actually 6 days. Once I started milking regularly around age 13, off days have almost exclusively been a couple days in a row, but dairy meetings gave me up to 4 days in a row. I work 6 days every week. BUT, it is nice being able to come into my own home for a break when I need it, all my meals with Teresa at my own table. Lots of work, but lots of nice benefits as well. I can't imagine having 2 weeks off in one stretch though. The last 20 years, my grand total of days taken off have been about 7 days per year.

Enjoy your summer. Do yourself a favor. Read some books too, even instruction manuals are good. Make an effort to retain what you learned so that next year will be a bit easier. I hope that you have a terrific summer. Good Luck, Rick

Wow! you all get out late. Our schools were out at the end of May, but they start back up in Aug. Glad you got your finials done and are on your way to 8th. Looking forward to seeing pics of your projects. Be careful and safe as you work but also have a good time. :peace:
