I have been slacking for a while now due to the lack of funds but decided yesterday to start looking daily for another Massey. I want to find a MF16, 1655 or 1855 but there is nothing coming up in my area. There is a 1655 on ebay that is about 200 mile away but it is missing a lot of stuff.

Last year there would be times when 5 or 6 would show up, hopefully come spring they will start coming out of the woodwork again.

I saw a snapper GT on the St. Louis craigslist that I think is the same as the masseys, but they were really proud of it. ($1800 )

Ya, they are a little pricey on it. If they were closer I would go look at it and see what kind of shape it was in. If it is in nice shape and with all the attachments I would probably give them 1,000 for it. My problem is I never know how much they are really worth and it is basically whatever you are willing to spend is what they are worth.

I had a 1655 for 28 years, got stupid and sold it and then tried to buy it back a year later but no chance.Last summer a 1655 went up for sale not too far from me.The guy had a cab for it ,front blade, and snow blower and I grabbed it because you just don't see them for sale around here.

If it weren't so far away Mike I would probably jump on it. I would love to find one that I only have to drive maybe 50 mile to get. I know I won't get that lucky though.

I've went 550, but that is likely my longest tractor trip forever. 2 or 300 is enough for me now.....unless.........:laughingteeth::laughingteeth::laughingteeth::laughingteeth: Yep, there's always that "special" tractor that you'll drive forever to get.
